Quality of life improvement ministry for men, women and children who are terminally and chronically ill, and for women and children living in at risk situations.
The purpose of Project Agape Love is to improve the quality of life for people with chronic and terminal illnesses, and physical, emotional, and developmental disabilities. We are partnered with Kenyatta National Hospital, Living Positive Kenya, and the Matasia Special Needs Center.
Kenyatta National Hospital, located in Nairobi, is the largest government hospital in Kenya. Admitted to the hospital regardless of their ability to pay, most of the patients are among the poorest in the country. Many of them are able to leave, however, they can't because their bills must be cleared before they are allowed to leave. Project Agape Loves serves these patients by bringing them toys and toiletries. We also recruit people to pray for the patients, we have support groups available for the patients, and are currently in progress of opening Agape House. Agape House in a home that will be available, free of charge, to the families of children with cancer, so they can spend more precious time with their sick and dying children, and waste less time traveling.
In the beginning, it was not my intention to ask specifically for donations. However, as PAL moves along, there are some who want to give but find the cost of shipping the items to me prohibitavely so. So, if you would like to make a monetary donation that will go towards the cost of shipping, handling, and Western Union fees, it would be most appreciated. Be blessed!
